Clinical Training Proficiency Coach – THPG

Here’s What You Need

Education

·       High School Diploma or Equivalent (4 years additional relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree) required or

·       Bachelor’s Degree required

 

Experience

·       2 years recent experience in an ambulatory clinic setting as a CMA or LVN (with Bachelor’s Degree) required or

·       6 years recent experience in an ambulatory clinic setting as a CMA or LVN (without Bachelor’s Degree) required and

·       1 year of preferred adult training using different learning tools

 

Licenses and Certifications

·       LVN – Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire required or

·       CMA – Medical Assistant Certified – Acquired through an accredited program upon hire required and

·       Other- CPR (BCLS) Certification upon hire required

What You Will Do 

Collaborates with Clinical Training team to conduct focused training in a classroom setting:

·       Assures a high-quality education and training experience by utilization of evidence-based resources and best practices.

·       Possesses knowledge of and ability to implement a wide variety of interactive adult learning principles.

Conducts competency assessments in the classroom and/or the clinical setting:

·       Observes employees in practical application of procedures, assesses competencies and provides one-to-one training/coaching as needed.

Track satisfactory completion of required staff clinical competencies:

·       Documents performance and provides feedback to employee on level of performance based on class objectives

·       Completes employee evaluation forms in a timely manner

Additional Responsibilities:

·       Works with manager to continually provide feedback on training and proficiency programs

·       Performs other duties as assigned by manager and/or THPG leadership to meet organization requirements
