Physical Well-Being
Medical: choose from three medical plan options, including one high deductible health plan option and two EPO options through UnitedHealthcare and Quantum Health.
Prescription Drug Coverage: choose from a Low or High plan through Caremark.
Dental: pick from three dental plan options through Aetna
Vision: take advantage of our eye-opening vision plan through Superior Vision by MetLife that covers eye exams, glasses or contacts and more
Be Healthy Wellness Program: eligible employees can use tools and resources to get and stay healthy as well as earn rewards in the form of gift cards and extra money on paychecks to offset the cost of medical premiums

Financial Well-Being
401(k) Retirement Plan: join the 401(k) Retirement Plan anytime and make pre-tax or Roth after-tax contributions. After six months of service, get Texas Health matching contributions up to 6% of pay, starting with 75 cents for every dollar contributed. And the match goes up from there the longer you stay with Texas Health.
Disability & Life Insurance: basic life and basic accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance as well as the ability to purchase additional coverage
Employee Relief Fund: short- term assistance through grants to help bridge the financial gap when experiencing significant financial hardship

Time Away from Work
Paid Time Off: paid time for vacation, holidays, illness or injury, leave of absence, and Family and Medical Leave to help balance work and life. Employees also have the ability to sell their PTO and receive a cash payment, donate PTO hours to charity, or convert PTO for the upcoming year to pay for benefits.*

In addition to the PTO program, My Flex Day provides benefit-eligible employees* one paid regularly scheduled workday away from work once per calendar year. My Flex Day is available immediately upon hire.
