Fast-paced, high volume Inpatient Rehab Center is looking for top skilled Physical Therapist.  Is that you?

 

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane. Dallas TX 75231

Work hours:  Full-Time 

  • 40 hours/week: will consist of four 10-hour shifts on Saturday & Sunday + 2 week day shifts.

Here’s What You Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree Completion of a Physical Therapy program Required
  • 1 year experience, adult acute or inpatient rehabilitation strongly preferred
  • PT – Physical Therapist Texas Physical Therapy License Upon Hire Required
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) Required  

What You Will Do

  • Uses therapeutic treatment techniques appropriate to patient age and desire for treatment
  • Performs treatment procedures that are within the scope of the professional license
  • Performs/delegates technical procedures appropriately and safely
  • Utilizes a variety of treatment techniques to achieve goals, if necessary
  • Determines patient response to treatment and evaluates progress (reassessment)
  • Educates patient and family through instruction, demonstration, and/or appropriate handouts in treatment plan, safety issues, home programs/self-management and assistive equipment
