Medical Office Receptionist – Surgical Specialists Clinic – Full-Time, Days
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic is looking for top skilled Medical Office Receptionist
 
Work location:  101 Crown Pointe Boulevard, Suite 360, Willow Park, TX 76087
Work hours:  Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday thru Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm & Fridays 8:00am – 3:00 pm
Travel:  Once weekly on Wednesday to satellite clinic at 909 S.E. Parkway, Suite 102, Azle, TX 76020 (mileage reimbursement provided)

Here’s What You Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Six months Medical experience in a Clinic (strongly preferred)
  • Six months Business Office Customer Service experience (preferred)
  • Basic Computer skills needed
  • Be an outgoing individual with a friendly attitude
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be able to multi-task front desk job responsibilities for a busy Family Practice/Internal Medicine Clinic
  • Must have outstanding communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Have knowledge of insurance authorization/billing requirements
  • Have demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills
  • Have organizational and time management skills
  • Be proficient computer skills
  • Have knowledge of clinic procedures and regulatory requirements
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
  • Be a team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
 
What You Will Do
  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Medical Office Receptionist Process.
  • Answers and directs phone calls in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Performs patient check-in, obtaining patient and insurance information. Copying, scanning, and filing patient registration materials (ID, insurance cards, etc.) into the EMR system, including record file retrieval.
  • Completes all paperwork/charts necessary to ensure the admitting process and clinic and regulatory policies are compliant.
  • Conducts patient check-out including pricing services, collecting patient responsibility payments (collecting copays and deductible amounts), and scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Follows up with patients regarding Missed Appointment Policy and sends appropriate communications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
