We’re looking for a qualified Lab Application Specialist to join our Texas Health family. Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, Texas 75231

Work hours:  Full-Time 1st Shift – 7:30am-4:00pm.

Here’s What You Need

·       Associate’s Degree Medical Technology Required And

·       MLT(ASCP) – Medical Lab Technician with bachelors Upon Hire Required Or

·       MT(ASCP) – Medical Technologist with bachelors Upon Hire Required Or

·       MT(ASCP) – Medical Technologist with specialty certification Upon Hire Required

·       5 Years LIS or IT experience Preferred 

·       Keyboard skills for computer data entry, administrative skills to accurately compile statistics and maintain logs

What You Will Do

·       Writes reports and analyzes data from the Middleware and LIS.

·       Maintains the LIS data base by making necessary changes, assisting with building new procedures and assure that the system(s) are working from ordering to reporting.

·       Investigates and troubleshoots all computer related complaints and problems

·       Trains personnel on laboratory automation, middleware and Lab Information System (LIS)

·       Plans for and validates new instrument installations into the laboratory automation and middleware software.
