                                  Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled LMRT                                              

 

 

Work location:  3136 Horizon Road – Suite 100    Rockwall, Texas 75032 (with possible travel to other locations in Richardson, Kaufman and Greenville)

Work hours:  Full -Time, 40 hours weekly; Monday – Thursday (745am – 5pm), Fridays (745am-4pm)

Here’s What You Need: 

·       High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

·       Completion of an AART-approved Limited Radiologic Technology Education Program (REQUIRED)

·       Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (PREFERRED)

·       Six months of Clinical Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist experience (PREFERRED)

·       GMRT, LMRT or AART upon Hire (REQUIRED)

        BCLS QUARTERLY – within 90 Days of Hire (REQUIRED)

 

What You Will Do:

·       Schedules outpatient tests and procedures at hospitals via telephone.  Explains simple tests and preparation requirements to patients.

·       Positions patients and adjusts equipment for taking diagnostic images following established procedures.  Follows safety principles, radiation protection, and the general comfort and care of the patient.

·       Takes x-rays of various portions of the body in order to diagnosis disease or injury.

·       Maintains radiographic log, in accordance with the policy, taking responsibility for documentation of exam, patient’s name, and/or retake reason

·     Records test results and monitors patient data. Maintains accurate department records to satisfy both the state and federal regulations.  Maintains separate report on all diagnostic radiographs.
