Radiographer NCT – LPO Rockwall – Full-Time, Days

Here’s What You Need: 

·       High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)

·       Completion of an approved NCT Training Program (REQUIRED)

·       Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (PREFERRED)

·        Six months of relevant work experience (PREFERRED)

·       NCT registered by the Texas Medical Board upon hire (REQUIRED)

   BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire (REQUIRED)

What You Will Do:

·       Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protects patients, self and other staff from radiation hazards

·       Take X-Rays following established procedures for patient care and safety, which involves setting up and operating radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients

·       Select proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis and adjusts and sets radiologic controls

·       Perform quantity and quality control checks to assure X-Ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules and department policies
