Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care/Hyperbaric Outpatient Clinic – PRN Days

Here’s What You Need

·      Associate degree or Nursing Diploma required.

·      BSN preferred.

·      One-year experience as a registered nurse.

·      Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.

·      Current BLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.

·      Experience in outpatient wound care setting (preferred) and/or inpatient wound care

What You Will Do

·      Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.

·      Responsible for delivery of wound care in an outpatient setting.

·      Work with other team members to resolve patient issues.

·      Ensure communication with other care providers is timely, accurate, and complete.

·      Patient/family teaching and discharge instructions, referrals and supply needs.

·      Utilizes evidence-based practice to administer wound care services.
