Outreach Specialist – PRN

Work location: Fort Worth; must have reliable transportation, travel required across North Texas

Work hours: PRN (as needed) – 20 hours per week, offering additional hours as available. Weekend availability and weekday afternoon/evening availability is required (with some weekday mornings as well). Schedule will be provided two weeks in advance, and employee is expected to attend required events/job assignments at the designated times.

This is a grant funded position and subject to the award and continuation of the contract

What You Will Do

·       Participate in program development and planning.

·       Develop and effectively manage program timelines to ensure timely completion of program deliverables.

·       Monitor program activities and reporting to ensure accuracy in outcome measures.

Here’s What You Need

Education
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required And
Other Successful completion of a Community Health Worker formal training program such as from a commuity college or other education institution Preferred

Experience
6 Months Customer service experience either face-to-face or by phone Required

Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to maintain composure in stressful situations, ability to problem solve, time management skills, detail-oriented, ability to work independently as well as with others, strong organizational & prioritization skills, and ability to motivate and inspire others, ability to complete required reports.
