Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care/Hyperbaric Outpatient Clinic

·      Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104

·      Work hours: PRN “As Needed” 7:30 am – 4:00 pm- hours are dependent on the needs of the unit

Here’s What You Need

·      Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or nursing diploma required.

·      BSN preferred

·      One-year experience as a clinical nurse required.

·      Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire

·      Current BLS – prior to  providing independent patient care required.

·      2+ years of strong Med/surg RN experience in acute care or wound care setting including charge/preceptor skills (preferred)

 

What You Will Do

·      Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

·      Responsible for delivery of wound care and hyperbaric treatments as ordered by Physician.

·      Work with other team members to resolve patient issues.

·      Ensure communication with other care providers is timely, accurate, and complete.

·      Post-operative patient/family teaching and discharge instructions, referrals and supply needs.

·      Utilizes evidence-based practice to administer wound care.
