· Work hours: Exempt: Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Thursday 7:00AM-4:00PM and 1 day virtual/work from home on Friday

· Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Stephenville is a full-service, 98-bed hospital serving Erath and surrounding counties since 1926. The hospital offers surgical services, women’s and infants’ services, advanced diagnostic imaging, sleep lab and a wound care program.
Here’s What You Need
· Associate’s degree Required. Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
· Three (3) Years medical staff or credentialing experience Required.
· CPCS – Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist within 3 Years Required Or CPMSM – Certified Professional Medical Services Management within 3 Years Required.
· Computer/word processing and database management with ability to work under pressure with frequent interruptions.
What You Will Do:
· Coordinate and process requests for applications; evaluate eligibility for application receipt according to bylaws. Upon receipt of a complete application, initiate the information collection, verification, and documentation process per established policies and procedures.
· Prepare agendas for committees/division meetings. Make other preparations for the meeting including reserving a room, ordering food, and sending notifications. Attend meetings, document accurate minutes, and follow up as appropriate. Work with the supervisor to prepare the annual report for the Medical Board.
· Serves as a resource for hospital staff, physicians and their office staff in relation to Medical Staff activities.
· Assist with setting up CareConnect training, MUSE training, tour of hospital and introduce to staff, nursing and physicians, getting badge and access to secure areas.
· Assists the quality department with gathering and reporting data related to focused and ongoing professional practice evaluations of current competency of the medical staff and credentialed allied health professionals.
· Meet with Quality and Patient Safety managers to review KPI’s and RCB’s specifically using order sets etc. Administrative Representative for Medical Affairs.
· Maintain knowledge of the Joint Commission requirements pertaining to medical staff for continued accreditation.
· Serves as the primary contact person for other hospital and corporate department heads concerning medical affairs and medical staff issues and concerns.
