Registered Nurse, Radiology – Part Time, Days

Here’s What You Need

·       Diploma in Nursing required or

·       Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or

·       BSN preferred

·       Other – CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign exchange equivalency required

·       One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.

·       One year of Radiology experience preferred

·       Experience in ICU or ED with conscious sedation highly preferred

·       ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life support upon hire highly preferred

·       RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required

·       BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly

·       ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required

·       PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days required

What You Will Do

·       Assesses the patient

·       Plans the care of the patient

·       Intervenes as appropriate

·       Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

·       Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

·       Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

·       Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
