Telemetry Monitor Technician – Mission Control Full Time Nights
We are looking for a top skilled Telemetry Monitor Tech like you to join our Texas Health family.
Work location: Texas Health Rockwall – 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032
Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly, 6pm-6am night schedule (3) 12-hour shifts

Here’s What You Need:
· High School Diploma or Equivalent required
· Basic understanding/ability to learn medical terminology
· 1 year of telemetry monitoring experience strongly preferred
· Monitoring experience with EKG or as a Paramedic helpful
What You Will Do:
Demonstrates competency in the set up and use of the telemetry monitoring equipment.
Collects, reports, and documents patient information (rhythms/rate) timely and accurately.
Seeks assistance, supervision, or consultation when unsure of rhythm(s) identification.
Distinguishes and reports abnormalities and initiates action to provide continuity of care.
Processes admission and discharge or patients in system promptly. Prepares monitor for next patient admission.
Notifies patient’s primary RN promptly of any changes in patient’s monitor view.
Communicates promptly of perceived risks specific to patient safety or immediate need for assistance to co-workers, nurses, and physicians/providers. Serves as a patient advocate.
Assists with documentation that supports and meets hospital and regulatory requirements.
Uses Professional Practice Model philosophy to work in partnership with patients, families, physicians, peers, and all other disciplines.
