Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) 
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Certified Medical Assistant
**Sign-On for Eligible New Hires**
 
Work location:  5801 Oakbend Trail – Suite 200,     Fort Worth, TX 76132
Work hours:  Full-time, 40 hours weekly; Monday thru Friday (8am-5pm)
 
Internal Medicine Department highlights:
  • Clinic occasionally closes early on Fridays once all work is complete

Here’s What You Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
  • CMA – Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)
  • One year of experience as a Medical Assistant (PREFERRED)
  • Family Practice or Internal Medicine experience (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
  • Experience working with Elderly Population (STRONGLY PREFERRED)
  • ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED)
 
What You Will Do
  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
  • Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
  • Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
  • Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
  • May work in the front office as needed
  • May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
