  • Core work hours: Full Time (40 Hours); Day Shift 8:00a-5:00p

Job Description  
Department operations:
Ensure daily operations of SPD fall within AMII guidelines
Staff schedules
Manage performance issues

Engage Physicians:
Daily rounding with physicians

Finance and Efficiency:
Meet supply and FTE budgets

Quality Metrics:
Development and oversight of department based PI projects
Advance Patient safety and Quality

Education
H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience
3 years clinical experience in a sterile processing department including some supervisory or leadership functions required

Licenses and Certifications
CSPDT – Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician Or clinical certification in the field of surgical instrument processing required upon hire

Skills
Leadership skills, good communication skills, problem solving; must perform daily operations within all areas of Sterile Processing Department.
