Nursing Supervisor (RN) Medical Surgical Oncology Full Time Days

Here’s What You Need:

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program
• BSN preferred
• CLIAFE – Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
• 2 Years’ experience as a registered nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor) Required
•  RN Nurse Upon Hire Required
• BCLS – prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
• ONS – Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certificate 18 months Req
• CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained Annually 90 days Req

What You Will Do

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

• Engages staff to promote evidence-based practices within the unit
• Monitors key performance indicators (KPI’s) and regulatory requirements for compliance
• Provides bedside leadership and clinical expertise to improve quality patient care
• Provides guidance in emergency or complex situations
• Use appropriate methodology consistently for communication handoffs
• Manages and monitors patient and staff safety initiatives and outcomes
• Models the use of High Reliability Organization (HRO) tools in everyday practice and situations and encourages to do the same
