Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours: Full Time Days, Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm or 7:30am-4:30pm

Here’s What You Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree Healthcare, business, or relevant field. 4 Years Relevant work experience in lieu of a degree is required 
  • 1 Year Health care or non-profit agency experience with a Bachelor’s degree. is required or
  • 5 Years Health care or non-profit agency experience with no degree is required and
  • Volunteer management experience is preferred
  • Sound judgment and character assessment, excellent human relations an oral/written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word. Demonstrated database ability. Demonstrated organizational ability.

What You Will Do 

  • Manages volunteer application process, including, screening/interviewing, training, initial placement, replacement of all volunteers and supports the completion of compliance requirements of all volunteers. 
  • Manages volunteer programs within the hospital, including but not limited to critical areas; information desks, surgery waiting room and flower delivery, addressing staffing needs, communication, problem solving and counseling. 
  • Manages summer student volunteer (SERV) program, including leadership recruitment, interviewing, volunteer prospect recruitment, training, and supervision.
