Registered Nurse (RN)—Cardiac Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology 

Are you looking for an opportunity to be a well-rounded nurse and expand your current skills?  We are looking for someone to assist with Interventional Recovery, Cath Lab and Vascular Cases and some Pain Management.  Come join us and share your input and expertise!

 

Work Location:  Texas Health Frisco is located at 12400 Dallas Parkway, Frisco, TX  75033  

Work ScheduleFull-time; 40 hrs./week.  Monday – Friday.  Some on-Call requirement.  Must live within a 30 minute on-call response time

Cardiac Cath Lab Department highlights: 

·         You would assist in cases from Heart and Vascular, Interventional Radiology, and some Pain Management

·         Assist in building a strong Cardiac Cath lab

·         Participate in unit Involvement to improve efficiency

·         Cohesive team environment

·         New Cath Department—Assist in building a top Cath Lab in the area

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

EDUCATION: 

·         Diploma of Nursing or Associate degree in nursing required;

·         BSN preferred.  

EXPERIENCE: 

·         1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse (RN) or completion of an RN residency program Required;

·         Two (2) or more years’ current experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab RN is strongly preferred.

·         Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.

·         RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care 

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS: 

·         Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire

·         BCLS upon hire – Require upon Hire

·         Responds to others’ priorities regarding safety, physical, psychological and social needs
