Accountant II

Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm (remote work allowed at manager’s discretion)
Department highlights:
- Our group supports 31 entities and over 380 free standing clinics.
- We work directly with entity CFOs, CEOs, Facilities Development, Engineering, Supply Chain and Real Estate groups to ensure the capital process follows GAAP and our extended team stays well informed.
- We help grow and support Texas Health Resources to be the strongest regional healthcare system in North Texas
Here’s What You Need
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree Accounting is required
Experience
- 2 Years relevant work experience is required
What You Will Do
- Performs general ledger accounting including maintaining general ledger accounts; preparing and reviewing journal entries; and account reconciliations. Researches and resolves discrepancies.
- Participates in monthly and year-end close by gathering and analyzing data to accurately prepare and report financial information.
- Conducts general budget to variance analysis.
- Addresses relevant accounting questions from financial planning and financial operations.
