Work hours: Full time, 1100a-930p, Sat-Sun, occasional weekends, Evening

Here’s What You Need
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency
· Six months experience as a phlebotomist or completion of a one semester course in phlebotomy
· PBT(ASCP) – Phlebotomy Technician upon hire preferred
What You Will Do
Performs daily review of results from the department
· For those entities performing phlebotomy, employee follows laboratory procedure for specimen collection, patient identification and labeling as appropriate for the age of the patient
· Follows laboratory procedures for handling, and processing in a manner which is appropriate and follows safety guidelines
· Follows laboratory procedures for handling unacceptable specimens
· Follows established laboratory test procedures
· Performs procedures in other areas of the Laboratory as required by hospital entity
