Job Description
Manages the Human Resources (HR) Department support staff and day to day operations by creating a culture of accountability, customer service, compliance, continuous learning and professional development. Coaches team members as needed for more complex HR issues/escalations.
Manages employee relations issues and provides leadership and direction to HR staff conducting investigations, responding to grievances or complaints. Provides coaching to managers on handling issues. Proactively anticipates issues thru metric analysis and other feedback indicators and responds promptly to all issues in accordance with THR principles and policies.
Lead and/or manage project and change management best practices to ensure initiatives are completes to meet service, KPI and compliance expectations. Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor workforce metrics and implements course corrections to impact trends in collaboration with entity leaders.
Manages employee workforce communications, recognitions and employee engagement/satisfaction initiatives including formal surveys, action planning and targeted programs for problem solving.
Monitors financial performance of the department. Analyzes the need for new programs/services, equipment/supplies. Serves as a resource stakeholders regarding staffing and productivity challenges.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources, Business, or Relevant field Required
Experience
5 Years Human Resource experience, preferably in Human Resource Operations or Employee Relations. Required
and
Healthcare experience Preferred
2 Years Managerial Experience Preferred
Licenses and Certifications
PHR – Professional in Human Resources with in 2 Years of hire Required
Or
SPHR – Senior Professional in Human Resources with in 2 Years of hire Required
Or
SHRM-CP – SHRM Certified Professional with in 2 Years of hire Required
Or
SHRM-SCP – SHRM Senior Certified Professional with in 2 Years of hire Required
Other Nationally recognized HR related certification with in 2 Years of hire Required
Skills
Creative and strategic thinker with high ethical standards and professional image. Sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, strong operational background. Team player. Articulate. Able to relate to people at all levels. Good educator willing to share information and conflict resolution skills. Preferred
