Work hours: Work hours: Rotating Mids (9a, 3p, 12p) – PRN III – 6 shifts per 6 weeks schedule, 2 weekend shift per 6 weeks schedule, 1 major and 2 minor Holiday shifts

Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton is a 255-bed, full-service hospital that has served North Texas and southern Oklahoma since 1987. Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred
- Other – CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
- RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire required
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
- ACLS – within 90 days of hire required
- CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire required
- 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse required
- 2-3 years of ER experience preferred
- TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course within 12 months of hire required
- ENPC – Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within12 months of hire required
- PALS – within 90 days of hire required
What You Will Do
Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
- Assesses the patient
- Plans the care of the patient
- Intervenes as appropriate
- Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
- Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
- Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
- Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
