Patient Care Assistant (PCA)—Radiology

Our radiology department is looking for a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to assist in providing top-notch care to our Patients.  You will be responsible for guiding them through the process and assisting wherever you would be needed.

WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

​​​​​​​WORK HOURS: PRN Rotating shifts as needed; some weekend availability

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         High School diploma or equivalent is required.

·         6 months related experience preferred.

·         BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

·         Provides assistance to patient according to plan of care.

·         Collects patient data, identifies and reports significant findings to nurse.

·         Assists in admission/transfer/discharge. Assists RN

·         Prepares stretchers/rooms for receiving patients.

·         Assists patients with toileting.

·         Stocks supplies.

·         Cleans rooms as needed
