Nurse Practitioner, NP / RN V – Gastroenterology/Colorectal – Full-Time

What You’ll Do

You’ll care for and assess the outpatient and inpatient GI/Colorectal patient population playing an integral role at Texas Health HEB. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in multiple care areas. A strong background in Gastroenterology, Colorectal, and Inpatient management is required for this specialty NP role. 

Here’s What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree; Graduate of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Master’s Degree; Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program is required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is highly preferred.
• NP Gastroenterology and Colorectal experience is preferred.
• RN experience in ICU, GI, Inpatient Acute Care/Medical Surgical experience is strongly preferred. 
• Registered Nurse RN is required upon hire.
• ACNP – Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification is required upon hire.
• APRN – Advanced Practice Nurse is required upon hire.
• NP – Nurse Practitioner is required upon hire.
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required.
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support is preferred and is required within 90 days of hire.
