D Magazine honors 14 Texas Health nurses

Fourteen Texas Health nurses have been named recipients of D Magazine’s 2020 Excellence in Nursing Awards.

The magazine received hundreds of nominations for the annual awards. Nominators were asked to answer questions about how the nurses affected their lives, community and profession. The applications were sent to a panel of five esteemed registered nurses in various fields who served as judges. D Magazine compiled the scores, and the highest in each category were announced as finalists. Categories included: education/research, leadership and direct care.
