Beth Stewart, B.S.N., R.N., CEN, , has received the 25 Outstanding Texas Nurses Award from the Texas Nurses Association. The annual award recognizes the contributions of nurses who create a culture of care; support healing, health and wellness; innovate improvements; and contribute to their community.
Stewart has worked in the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Hurst-Euless-Bedford Emergency Department for more than 16 years, serving as a supervisor for the past eight years.
“Beth has an unwavering commitment to patient care and nursing excellence,” said Julie Balluck, D.N.P., R.N., NEA-BC, chief nursing officer, Texas Health HEB. “She is an outstanding leader and does a great job at recognizing staff members and fostering teamwork in a high-stress environment.”
