Texas Health is excited to introduce our Patient Care Technician Apprentice Program! The program was developed to create a workplace that reflects the diverse communities we are privileged to serve. It’s a “learn while you earn” program that creates a pathway for employment directly into a healthcare career. Successful PCT Apprentices will develop highly valued skills and become Patient Care Technicians.
Patient Care Techs fill an invaluable role in the delivery of healthcare services to our patients. As frontline caregivers, PCTs partner with clinical professionals and are vitally important to the spectrum of care we provide at Texas Health.
A little about the program:
- Learn while you earn in our 4-week program
- Complete online class instruction, onsite at participating hospital locations
- Does not include certification
- Train full-time, Monday – Friday
- High school diploma required

Summer 2025 Cohort
Start date is June 2, 2025.
