New Employee Orientation Overview
Here’s a quick overview of what to expect at Orientation
as a new employee of Texas Health.
You will receive detailed information about orientation during your HR preboarding meeting and a finalized schedule once you have completed the preboarding process.
Orientation – Day 1
Who: New Employees of Texas Health
What: New Employee Orientation is designed to give all new employees a broad overview of the identity, mission, vision, and values of Texas Health. Although Texas Health has many hospitals and facilities, we have one Texas Health identity.
Where: 600 E. Lamar Blvd., Arlington, TX 76112
Orientation – Day 2
Who: New Employees of Texas Health
What: Entity Welcome Orientation is held on every Tuesday for all new staff. This is an opportunity to get a feel for the culture and meet with senior leadership.
Where: Your home entity location
Orientation – Day 3
Who: New Clinical Employees of Texas Health
What: Acute Care Clinical Orientation is held on Wednesdays for all new clinical staff who are in direct patient care.
Where: 600 E. Lamar Blvd., Arlington, TX 76112

Do you work with direct patient care in INPATIENT areas?
If Yes: You will attend Acute Care Clinical Orientation
If No: You will NOT attend Acute Care Clinical Orientation
Most clinical roles require additional training and departmental orientation.
