At Texas Health Denton we take seriously our mission to improve the health of those in our community and are in search of Registered Nurses to join our expanding Nursing Team.

We’re a 255-bed, full-service hospital serving our community since 1987 and growing. Our new tower is slated to be completed in the spring of 2022 and will house 12 labor and delivery rooms, 30 postpartum and antepartum beds and two dedicated surgical suites for cesarean deliveries plus an updated breast center, 10 additional Emergency Department beds that includes a seven-bay fast-track area, and renovated physical therapy and cardiac rehab departments. With more than 1,000 employees and 450+ physicians on our medical staff we are one of Denton County’s largest employers.

Texas Health Denton is a Joint Commission-accredited Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center, a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence and a Pathways to Excellence-designated hospital. We’re also an American College of Cardiology’s National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR) Chest Pain – MI Registry Performance Achievement Award – Platinum recipient for 2021, a Level III Maternal Care program and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Learn about a few of our units:

• Medical Unit – a large 55-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse to patient ratio where staff work well together and supportive of each other.
• Surgical Unit – a 33-bed unit with a 1:5 nurse to patient ratio specializes in the care of post-surgical patients for procedures such as Bariatric, spine, joint replacement and general surgery.
• Oncology Unit – a 15-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio that cares for patients with varying cancer diagnoses, end of life care, chemo administration and outpatient infusions.
• Intensive Care Unit – a 20-bed unit where we provide advanced High Acuity training on CRRT, Open Hearts, Impella, Balloon Pumps and Hypothermia. We also respond to all in house Codes (Stroke, RRT, Blue).
