What service lines do you recruit for? Certified Medical Assistants for our Texas Health Physician Group (THPG) Clinics
What do you enjoy most about working at Texas Health? The people I work with. I already enjoy what I do but my team makes it that much better. Everyone is incredibly supportive of one another and I know not every organization is like that, so I count my blessings to work with such great people.
What would you tell someone who is considering Texas Health as a future employer? It’s the best decision you could make for both you and your family. I’ve been able to grow in my professional career as well as start a family because Texas Health truly believes that everyone should have a healthy work/life balance.
Do you have a tip to share for individuals applying with Texas Health? Stay up to date on our open job opportunities as there are always new and exciting positions available.
Let’s talk Work Life balance. How do you disconnect and what do you do for fun? Work stays as work. Once I’m gone for the day, my focus shifts to my family. I’m a new mom so most of my free time is spent with my husband and our 6-month-old son, James. As for fun, I enjoy traveling, reading (when I have time), trying new restaurants, and spending time with extended family and friends.
What is something unique about you that most people don’t know? I danced for 17 years and was a competitive dancer for 10 years. During that time I got to dance a couple of the Thanksgiving Half-Time shows for the Dallas Cowboys.
