Nurses at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth are spending some of their free time brightening windows and spirits at nursing homes in North Texas.
Peggy Needler, R.N., started painting messages of hope and love on the windows of nursing homes in March. So far, Peggy, along with other Texas Health nurses and their children, have been to five nursing homes to paint.
“This is the fun stuff that just makes me smile,” Peggy (at right), a nurse on the cardiac telemetry unit at Texas Health Fort Worth, told NBC5.
