Texas Health Specialty

Texas Health Specialty Hospital Fort Worth opened in 1989 as a separately licensed hospital on the campus of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. The hospital is a Pathway to Excellence® accredited facility that serves adult patients with medically complex hospital needs such as acute and chronic renal failure, prolonged respiratory conditions and wound management requiring complex intervention. Additionally, we safely accept patients from the intensive care unit.

Our 10-bed, long term acute care hospital offers an environment to use your clinical expertise to provide individualized and holistic care for patients with intensive nursing needs. By maintaining a low nurse-to-patient ratio, we can impact the progress of our patient’s health over our average 25-day length of stay.

Texas Health Specialty Hospital is a family with an entire care team to work with including medical staff and management throughout the hospital. We empower our staff by providing the tools they need to help patients and manage and treat illnesses. Plus, we encourage collaboration with physicians, outside medical staff, and community resource services.

As part of the Texas Health family and its 28,000+ employees, we’re one of the largest employers in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Our career growth and professional development opportunities are top-notch and our benefits are equally outstanding. Come be a part of our exceptional team as we improve the health of the people in our communities every day. You belong here.
