Lead Housekeeper – Environmental Services

Work location: Texas Health Flower Mound, 4400 Long Prairie Rd., Flower Mound, TX 75028
Work hours: Full Time; Evenings, 3pm-11:30pm; 40 hours per week, with a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend

Here’s What You Need
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred
- One year of supervisory or lead housekeeping experience is strongly preferred
- Six months related experience required
- Experience in a hospital or hotel setting is strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is strongly preferred
What You Will Do
- Empty, clean and reline trash containers.
- Properly dispose of all waste including biohazardous materials.
- Assist supervisor with training new hires and in-service training with staff.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, restocking dispensers. Dust hard surface floors/vacuum carpets. Sanitize and spot clean.
- Performs duties of supervisor in their absence.
- Additional cleaning and bed making as required by patient discharge or transfer to include removal of clinical support equipment and supplies as well as soiled linen.
- Follows-up on complaints and concerns made by patients, family members and staff.
