Work hours: PRN (As Needed)

· Broad procedural exposure across Hybrid/OR (GE), CT, and Ultrasound.

We offer Interventional Radiology procedures such as vascular access, biliary and urinary interventions, and venous and arterial thrombectomy, as well as Peripheral vascular related procedures. For our clinical staff, we require scheduled call time with self-scheduling.
Here’s What You Need
Education
· Nursing Diploma required Or
· Associate’s Degree Nursing required Or
· Bachelor’s Degree Nursing preferred
Experience
· 2 years IR experience strongly preferred and/or 2 years ICU/ED strongly preferred if without IR experience.
Licenses and Certifications
· RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required And
· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required And
· ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 days required And
· NIHSS- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale Certification 30 days required And
· CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 90 days required
What You Will Do
• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
• Assesses the patient
• Plans the care of the patient
• Intervenes as appropriate and evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
• Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, while expediting out of hospital transfers
