Here’s What You Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology or Nursing Required
  • 3 Years’ Experience in related clinical care discipline Required
  • Previous experience with Rehab regulatory compliance preferred
  • Previous experience working in Inpatient Rehab facility strongly preferred.
  • RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required Or
  • PT – Physical Therapist Upon Hire Required Or
  • OT – Occupational Therapist Upon Hire Required Or
  • SLP – Speech Language Pathology Upon Hire Required

 

What You Will Do

  • Perform research when needed in connection with regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining appropriate caseload in the Inpatient Rehab Faciltiy, including maintain appropriate 60/40 ratio, and providing guidance with appropriate placement of patients within the scope of the IRF criteria
  • Audit documentation within Rehab Services to ensure compliance with Rehab documentation guidelines and standards including coding, charges and adherence to all Medicare, Joint Commission, AACVPR, and CARF.
  • Facilitate the implementation of appropriate documentation changes for compliance and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform charge reconciliation on daily charges of the inpatient rehab facility, outpatient rehab, and cardiac rehab patient accounts.
