Position Highlights
- Work location: Texas Health HEB 1600 Hospital Parkway TX 76022
- Work environment: Nursing Operations
- Work hours: PRN Nights, Varied hours as needed
What You’ll Need
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing is required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred
- Five (5) years of experience as a registered nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor) is required
- Three (3) years Emergency and/or critical care nursing is preferred
- RN – Registered Nurse is required upon hire
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required within 90 days of hire
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
- CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training is required within 90 days of hire
- NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program Upon Hire Req
Skills for Success
Proactive problem-solving skills, good interpersonal, verbal, written and computer skills. Excellent prioritization skills.
What You Will Do
Operations/Leadership: Role models the THR Professional Practice Model and Promise Behaviors.
Bed Management: Troubleshoots issues and barriers to expedient placement of patients.
Patient Experience: Demonstrates supportive skills in supporting patients and families at the end of life.
Customer Support/Patient Experience: Responds to patient, visitor and physician concerns.
As well as other duties assigned.
