Work hours: Monday-Friday – 1st Shift

Anatomic Pathology Department highlights:

·      Frozen Section Assistance

·      Special Stains

·      Immunohistochemistry

 

Here’s What You Need

·      Bachelor’s Degree Medical Technology, Applied Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological Science required.

·      5 years under the direction of an MT or Pathologist.

·      2 years leadership experience preferred.

·      HT(ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) strongly preferred.

·      MT(ASCP) – Medical Technologist Upon Hire Or CT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) or SCT (ASCP) Upon hire
Other AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS- CA, FL, NY state license, Philippine Board of Technical Technology Upon Hire Or HT (ASCP) – is supervising Histology within Anatomical Pathology required

 

What You Will Do

·      Supervise all aspects of the Anatomic Pathology Laboratory to include the Gross Room, Immunohistochemistry, Frozen Section Rooms, and Specimen Processing

·      Oversees work schedules of Histotechnologists 

·      Resolves quality control discrepancies

·      Participates in training of staff

·      Ensures Anatomic Pathology Laboratory complies with the CAP guidelines
