WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
WORK HOURS:  Training to occur mostly during weekday shifts 7a-7p. Full time commitment to follow for 36 hours a week, Thu-Sat 7p-7a

Here’s What You Need:

•    Other Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine school Required AND
•    Associate degree preferred.
•    9 Months Radiologic Technologist experience required OR 
•    9 Months Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required 
•    ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R or N Upon Hire Req Or 
•    NMTCB – Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Upon Hire Req And 
•    CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire Req And 
•    BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintaining quarterly 90 Days Req And 
•    ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT (must be obtained within 3 months of completion of the apprentice program) 90 Days Req

What You Will Do:

•    Imaging Quality and Processing:
•    Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.
•    Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.
•    Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
•    Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS.
