Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital has a rich history in North Texas serving the local communities of Arlington, Kennedale, Pantego, Mansfield and Grand Prairie. What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree Medical Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological science is required.
- 5 Years under the direction of an MT or Pathologist Required
- 2 Years leadership experience Preferred
- MT(ASCP) – Medical Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
- CT(ASCP) – Cytotechnologist Upon Hire Required Or
- HTL(ASCP) – Histotechnologist Upon Hire Required Or
- MLS(ASCP) – Medical Lab Scientist Upon Hire Required Or
- SCT(ASCP) – Specialist in Cytotechnology Upon Hire Required Or
- Other equivalent of one of the above including AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS-CA, FL, NY state license, Phillipine Board Upon Hire Required Or
- HT(ASCP) – Histotechnician if supervising Histology within Anatomical Pathology Upon Hire Required
What You’ll Do
- Leadership/Staff Supervision
- Oversees work schedules and personnel assignments for the department
- Delegates employee responsibilities as needed
- Lab Operations and Test Procedures:
- Assumes and performs complex laboratory procedures when needed
