Here’s What You Need
-
H.S. Diploma or equivalent required
-
1 year of collections experience preferred
-
2 years of hospital admissions experience preferred
- CHAA – Certified Healthcare Access Associate preferred upon hire
- CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 60 days of hire
What You Will Do
· Helps patients understand their insurance benefits, financial responsibilities, and available assistance programs in a compassionate and clear way.
· Provides accurate cost estimates, set up payment plans, and assist with financial assistance applications.
· Identifies potential coverage gaps and educate patients about their financial options before services are rendered.
Insurance Verification & Pre-Authorization
· Verifies insurance benefits and ensure pre-authorization requirements are met before scheduled services.
· Assists patients with Medicaid applications, financial assistance forms, and public assistance programs.
· Collaborates with clinical teams and patient navigators to ensure financial processes do not delay care.
