Work location: Texas Health Alliance, 10864 Texas Health Trail., Fort Worth, TX 76244

Work hours: Full time – Days, 40 hours per week; Monday – Friday

Here’s What You Need

         ·         Master’s Degree in Nursing Required

         ·         Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire

         ·         Two (2) years direct patient care (RN) experience Required

         ·         Five (5) years current hospital experience Required

         ·         RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required

         ·         BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required

         ·         CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required

         ·         Other CNL or other professional nursing certification 12 Months Required

         ·         SSLP – Six Sigma Lean Professional Upon Hire Preferred

                      ·         Interpersonal skills, collaboration and negotiation skills, and excellent organizational skills.

 

 

What You Will Do

         ·         Collaborates with physicians and/or APRN for services needed as well as all with other allied health care providers

         ·         Partners with physicians by engaging in rounding to discuss priority of patients and patient care needs

         ·         Participates in interprofessional rounds, leading when appropriate

         ·         Collaborates with care transitions team to facilitate discharges, RCB measures, review of excess days and patient throughput

         ·         Facilitates the development, implementation, monitoring, and assessment of processes that impact patient outcomes

         ·         Uses benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify opportunities for improvement of care and patient safety

         ·         Incorporates the quality caring model in daily nursing decisions

         ·         Participates in shared decision making by participating in councils as requested by nursing leadership
