Work location: This position is located on site at Texas Health Dallas – 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, Texas 75231
Work hours: PRN- Rotating. – This prn role offers as needed shifts which could include days or nights 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM . Shifts may be available any day/night of the week.

Here’s What You Need
- Nursing Diploma Nursing is required Or
- Associate’s Degree Nursing is required Or
- Bachelor’s Degree Nursing is preferred
- 3 Years RN experience required; 1 year in the last 3 years as a Registered Nurse in specialty area of acute care and patient population of position (e.g. adults, geriatrics) is required
- 5 Years RN experience is preferred
- Experience in inpatient adult acute care (not procedure areas, not neonates) is strongly preferred.
- RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire is required And
- CPR – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Every 2 years 30 Days is required
- Able to promote patient safety and a positive patient experience
- Flexible and comfortable with a changing and dynamic work environment and schedule across all shifts and days
- Team player who also works well independently
- Participates in ongoing learning and continuing education to care for a variety of patient populations
- Collaborate, advocate and mentor others with a professional, non-condescending manner

- Identifies forces that impact the cost of health care, and advocates for, and practices cost-effective care and leadership
- Ability to use technology in addition to Epic
What You Will Do
- The Virtual Care RN is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to various patient populations and includes the following key elements:
- Utilizing monitoring, assessment, planning, intervention and critical thinking skills to care for acute care patient populations

Navigating patients and families across the continuum. Mobilizing resources to effect rapid and timely movement of the patient across care settings
- Providing evidence based, patient-centered assessment, medication management, care coordination, education, discharge planning and interventions for diverse patient populations and clinical conditions
- Ensure compliance with documentation and reporting requirements for Sentinel Events and Serious Incidents
- Compliance with regulatory, department, channel, state and federal requirements
