Surgical Associate – Operating Room – Full-Time, Days

Here’s What You Need

Education

·         High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Experience

·         Previous patient care experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

·         BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required

Skills

·         Read, write and speak English; Able to stand/walk for majority of hours of their work shift; Easily move heavy equipment & supplies ( up to 250 lbs on wheels) without endangering themselves or others

What You Will Do

·         Completes routine stocking chores

·         Assists in moving patients to and from the operating room suites

·         Assists in room cleanup before and/or after surgery

·         Other duties as assigned
