Work hours: PRN (As Needed) Rotating shifts – day/evening/weekends/holidays as needed

Here’s What You Need
- Bachelor’s Degree Pharmacy is required Or

Other Pharm.D. is required And

Other – CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency is required

Completion of PGY1 pharmacy residency strongly preferred
- 3 Years hospital experience or residency is preferred
- Board certified specialties and/or PGY1/PGY2 residency is strongly preferred
- ACPE Accredited Sterile Compounding Certification is strongly preferred
- BLS/ACLS is strongly preferred

PHAR – Pharmacist Upon Hire is required
- Must be proficient in written and verbal English language communication skills, computer proficient and possess basic math skills.
What You Will Do
- Communicating effectively, building positive professional relationships and role modeling teamwork.

Timely and accurate support of medication distribution including medication order verification and oversight of pharmacy technician
responsibilities.
- Provision of clinical pharmacy services for the safe and efficient patient care.
- Ensuring the accuracy of one’s own work as well as maintaining required competencies and other documentation. Consistent support of the department’s quality improvement and patient safety standards programs and initiatives is also required.
- Ongoing professional development and growth.
- Not only the management of one’s own time but shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies.
- Respond to medical emergencies per hospital policy as available.
