PBX Operator
Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled PBX Operator
Work location: 8160 Walnut Hill Lane Dallas, Texas 75231 (Perot Building, Lower Level)
Work environment: Hybrid (will be required to work in Office as needed)
Work hours: Full-time, Friday – Monday (7am – 530pm)

Here’s What You Need:
· High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
· One year of experience as a Dispatcher, Communication Specialist, Customer Service Representative or similar position in a communication or dispatch center (REQUIRED)
· Two years of Hospital experience (PREFERRED)
What You Will Do:
· Answer incoming calls to the hospital switchboard in a timely manner, directing calls to the correct location or assisting with needed phone numbers
· Answer questions regarding basic operation of telephone system
· Transfer calls to appropriate departments for problem resolution as needed
· Overhead pages to locate physicians and relay approved information to employees and visitors
· Document all page requests either automatically through paging system and/or manually using written records

Mostly the first means of contact into the enterprise which affords the experience w/the community we serve offering quality service, executing all levels of Emergency Alerts

Operating, and maintaining a web based, multi-line, high-tech phone system
