Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth – 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104
Work hours: Full Time Days (6:15 AM – 7:45 PM) for 36 hours/week. Weekend and holiday requirements
Here’s What You Need
· H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required
· Hospital experience Preferred
· BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And
· CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required
· High degree of confidentiality, patience and positive interpersonal skills
What You Will Do
· Continuous Monitoring: Remains in the room and observes the patient at all times, reporting unusual behaviors promptly.
· Data Collection: Tracks and communicates patient activities and verbalizations to the nurse as requested.
· Communication & Alerts: Uses call systems to report emergencies or coordinate breaks and patient needs.
· Patient Support: Notifies staff for patient requests like repositioning or bathroom assistance.
· Cultural Sensitivity: Collaborates with nurses to respect and integrate cultural and religious preferences into care.
· Professional Development: Attends relevant training, follows scheduling guidelines, and participates in process improvements.
· Safety Intervention: Acts swiftly in emergencies to prevent self-harm, falls, or elopement while ensuring safety for all.
