Work location: Texas Health Arlington Memorial, McRae Building: 810 West Randol Mill Road Arlington, Texas 76012
Work hours: Part Time, 24 hours; Day Shift, 3-8 hour days

Here’s What You Need 
•    Bachelor’s Degree Nursing required AND
•    Master’s Degree Nurse Practitioner required
•    2 years experience as a Nurse Practitioner
•    RN – Registered Nurse required AND
•    APRN – Advanced Practice Nurse required AND
•    NP – Nurse Practitioner required AND
•    BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required AND
•    ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 30 days preferred AND
•    CNM – Certified Nurse Midwife required OR
•    WHNP – Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner required
•    Other – Must be credentialed by Medical Staff Services

What You Will Do 
•    Utilizes principles and skills in communication and interviewing techniques in obtaining a comprehensive health history to formulate a plan of care and make decisions for appropriate therapeutic interventions.
•    Uses principles and skills in advanced health assessment for differentiating normal and abnormal findings.
•    Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve care process in order to promote continuity of care.
•    Utilizes evidence-based practice.
•    Demonstrates contribution to unit-based programs and research strategies to monitor and continuously improve the quality of patient care.
•    Assist in the identification of ineffective and costly processes and take actions to improve those processes.
•    Works in partnerships with peers and other disciplines.
•    Actively participates in formal and informal teaching and evaluation to strengthen clinical competence of self and team members
•    Flexible with scheduling to meet the department and patient needs.
•    Works with unit leaders and hospital leadership to meet compliance and business needs.
