Work hours: PRN, as needed for open availability. Work hours are generally shifts working Monday through Friday with occasional on call. Must be within an hour of facility.
- Other Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine is required Or
- Associate’s Degree is preferred
- 2 Years in nuclear medicine is highly preferred
- ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine Upon Hire is required Or
- CNMT – Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB Upon Hire is required And
- CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire is required And
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly is required
- Communication, computer, venipuncture
- Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam
- Processes and manipulates images, analyzes image quality, troubleshoots, makes technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed 8. Utilizes proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS / RIS
- Uses multidisciplinary, team oriented actions
- Checks physician orders and exam requisitions using time-out procedures
- Operates, cares for and maintains equipment
- Exchanges and maintenance of film badges within designated time frames
- Utilizes ADKAR and CLAK during times of change
