Nursing Supervisor (RN) – Medical Surgical Oncology – Full Time Days
Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231
Work hours: Full Time Days – (2) 12-hour shifts 7a-7p and (2) 8-hour 7a-3p or 11a-7p shifts to make the 40 hours. Rotating weekends and holidays are required.

Here’s What You Need
• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program Or Diploma Nurse Program Completion
• BSN preferred
• 2 Years experience as a registered nurse with previous experience as a charge nurse or similar leadership role (i.e. Charge nurse, committee chair, preceptor) Req
• One year of oncology/hospice experience preferred
• RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And
• BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And
• ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req And
• CRRN – Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse Upon Hire Pref Or
• CNRN – Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse Upon Hire Pref Or
• ONC – Orthopedic Nurse Certified Upon Hire Pref Or
• Other Certification in area of specialty Upon Hire Pref
What You Will Do
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Nurse Supervisor will:
- Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
- maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude toward patients and staff
- possess a strong work ethic and always display a high level of professionalism
- have basic computer skills using Medical management application systems
The Nursing Supervisor will support, coach, manage staff and resources to meet unit and hospital goals. When needed, will assist in patient care. This position is a great platform to connect with leadership and cultivate skills.
