Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography Technician (ERCP) – Endo/GI Lab (PRN/Rotating))

Here’s What You Need:

·       High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

·       1year of GI clinical or hospital experience preferred

·       CNA – Certified Nurses Aide upon hire preferred or

·       MA – Medical Assistant upon hire preferred or

·       EMT – Emergency Medical Technician upon hire preferred and

·       BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required and

·       A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment

What You Will Do:

·       Assists physicians and nurses with GI procedures

·       Sets up endoscopic equipment including specific individualized equipment after assessment of patient

·       Assists physicians and RNs throughout procedures

·       Handles instrumentation from basic to complex procedures

·       Takes actions to reduce or eliminate patient risk
